My print suddenly started stringing

If the same profile worked before and suddenly begins stringing, what would you investigate before changing retraction settings?

Three things to check in order: dry your filament (moisture is the number one cause), increase retraction distance and speed, then drop nozzle temp 5-10°C. If it started suddenly without any setting change, wet filament is almost always the culprit.
