How many listings should a new Etsy shop launch with?

Is it better to launch with a handful of polished listings or wait until you have a larger catalog?

Aim for 20-40 to start. One listing gets lost in search; more listings mean more chances to be found. They don't all have to be perfect — get them live and improve the winners.
