How often should you actually level a print bed?

Some people level constantly while others barely touch their calibration after getting everything dialed in. How often do you find bed leveling is actually necessary?

Check before the first print of the day or whenever first-layer quality changes; full re-level after any nozzle collision, transport, or big temperature swing. Modern PEI beds mostly just need cleaning.
